Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Texcila Fashion Technology ("Texcila", "we", "us") runs the website texcila.com and the TexMeasure tools (FitPredict and the Size Chart Generator). You can reach us at our contact email or through our Contact page.

2. What we collect, and why

• Free ebook and newsletter signup: your first name and email address, so we can give you the ebook and send occasional updates. We do this with your consent.
• Contact forms: your name, email address, topic and message, so we can reply to you. Messages from the texcila.com form are delivered to us by Web3Forms; messages from the TexMeasure form are emailed to our inbox through Gmail.
• TexMeasure tools: the body measurements you type in (such as bust, waist, hip and height) are used to calculate your predictions and size charts while you use the tool. TexMeasure has no user accounts, and we do not save the measurements you enter.
• Google: Analytics and a Google Sheets event log for TexMeasure; Gmail, which receives messages sent through the TexMeasure contact form; and Google Fonts, which loads the typefaces on our pages (Google receives your IP address when it does).
• Technical data: our hosting and service providers may automatically record your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the services running.

3. Cookies

TexMeasure uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to recognise repeat visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out browser add-on. The texcila.com website itself does not set cookies at the moment. We will update this policy if that changes.

4. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We use trusted services to run Texcila, and they handle data on our behalf:

• Mailchimp (Intuit): stores your name and email if you sign up, and sends our emails.
• Web3Forms: delivers messages sent through the contact form on texcila.com to us by email.
• Google: Analytics and our event log for TexMeasure, and Google Fonts, which loads the typefaces on our pages (Google receives your IP address when it does).
• Render: hosts our website and TexMeasure.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

5. Transfers to other countries

These services operate internationally, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. We choose established providers and rely on the safeguards they offer.

6. How long we keep it

Newsletter details stay on our list until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, then deleted or archived. Usage statistics are kept in anonymous form.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023 and, for visitors in Europe, the GDPR), you can ask us to:

• show you the personal information we hold about you;
• correct it, or delete it;
• stop using it, or restrict how we use it;
• withdraw your consent at any time, for example by using the unsubscribe link in any of our emails.

Email us at our contact email and we will respond. If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country, such as the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

8. Children

Our tools are not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including using secure (HTTPS) connections and reputable providers. No online service can guarantee complete security.

10. TexPivot and future tools

Some planned tools, such as TexPivot, may involve accounts and customer information. Before we collect that kind of information, we will update this policy and tell you what we collect and why.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new "last updated" date.
