About Texcila

Technology that understands the cutting table.

Texcila is a fashion technology and sustainability company, built by fashion designers for fashion designers. We make practical tools for the people who actually cut, sew and ship garments.

Our mission

Closing the gap between skill and tools

Fashion designers are asked to be precise without precision tools, sustainable without sustainable infrastructure, and technical without technical training. Most advanced tools are priced and designed for large fashion houses, which leaves independent designers working around the gap.

Texcila exists to close it. We build technology that helps designers measure accurately, cut precisely, and produce with less waste, so that skill isn't held back by access.

Why precision matters

Fit is a sustainability issue

Every sizing error shows up later as wasted fabric, remade garments, returns and lost money. Getting the measurements and the pattern right before the first cut is one of the most practical ways a designer can reduce waste, and it's where our tools start.

What we believe

Three principles behind every tool

Honest about limits

Every TexMeasure prediction comes with a confidence rating (High, Good, Moderate or Low), so you know when to trust a number and when to measure directly. We'd rather say what a tool can't do than oversell it.

Built at the cutting table

Our tools come from real design and pattern-making practice, not from an industry report. Each feature starts with a problem a working designer actually has.

Within reach

Independent designers and small studios deserve precision too. Our core tools are free to use, with no account required to get started.

What's live

TexMeasure

TexMeasure is live today. FitPredict predicts 40 body measurements from 4 base measurements, and the Size Chart Generator builds a complete size run from XXS to XXXL. Auto Pattern Drafting is being added, turning those measurements into printable pattern blocks.

In development

TexPivot

TexPivot is a web-based toolkit that helps independent fashion designers price properly, cut waste and cost, keep their customers, and market honestly and sustainably.

Its promise is simple: help a struggling fashion business become profitable by replacing guesswork with the designer's own numbers.

Who it's for

Independent designers, solo or in small studios, especially those working made-to-order or in small batches, often on a phone, with limited data and no budget for enterprise software. Growing labels and established houses can use the same tools, with deeper features added later.

The tools, built in stages

TexCost

Work out what a garment really costs, from materials, labour, overheads and wastage, and get an advised price based on your own numbers.

TexPack

Generate a tech pack for each product, built on the costing and material data you've already entered.

TexClient & TexReturns

Keep customer records and fit profiles, and track why items come back, including returns that accurate measurements could have prevented.

TexDemand

Track what you produce against what actually sells, so each restock or discontinue decision rests on evidence.

TexClaims

Check your sustainability claims before you make them. Every detail is marked verified, estimated or unknown, so you never promise what you can't prove.

Pivot Check, TexPlan & TexLearn

A scored diagnostic of your business, a 90-day action plan, and short lessons drawn from the book and workbook.

How it's designed

TexPivot is built in stages, testing each with working designers before the next begins. It's not a store, an accounting package or a social media scheduler, because free tools already do those well.
